We look forward to welcoming you to Aschworth High Country Station - please book your arrival date and a two night stay (our bookings will only accept arrivals every second day) - you will automatically be booked for your two night stay/3 day walk. Included in your booking - 2 nights accommodation including all linen, 3 days of high country walking tracks, full catering, lunchboxes and walking sticks.

We request that you book in even numbers (2,4,6 or 8 guests) this is to maximise the use of the property, ensure you are not sharing a room with a stranger and for your safety while using our walking track.

Arrival is at 9-9.15am on your arrival date and depature by 2pm on your departure date.   Adults (13 years and over) $1,295 per person  Children (5-12 years old) $995 per person

  • We do recommend a good level of fitness to complete our tracks, some of which can have steep gradients (up and down), however we do provide many options for varying fitness levels, please ask us if you are concerned.

  • The simple answer is - yes of course! Please get in touch with us to arrange this.

  • This is one of the reasons we ask you to book in even numbers so you can share a bedroom with one of your group members. Option is King or two singles in each luxury tent.

  • Expect a mix of terrain - from open farmland and uneven tracks. The landscape is varied and scenic, but can be challenging at times, so sturdy footwear and a sense of adventure are a must!

  • Unfortunately we don’t, however the wonderful team at Kaiaka are able to prepare for any dietary requirements we are made aware of in advance, just let us know.

  • Your safety comes first. Each group will be provided with a handheld radio and an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB). You’ll use the radio to check in each evening once you’ve reached your accommodation. If anything comes up along the way, we’re just a call away and ready to assist

  • Children aged 10 and over are welcome to join as Aschworth. While we love seeing young explorers on the trail, you know your child best, think about whether they’ll find the walk enjoyable and manageable.

  • We actually encourage you to bring your swimmers and take a dip on day 2 of your walk in the refreshing natural spring blue pools! Whilst there is no current, please make sure anyone enjoying the water is a confident swimmer.

  • Sorry but unfortunately no, Aschworth is a working farm with live stock and protect the stock and your beloved pets we don’t allow other dogs onto the farm.

  • Absolutely, we understand these things happen and allow changes to any of your group members up until the day of your arrival
